30 years after the Berlin Wall came down, why is there still an east and a west in Germany, a your way and ours? What’s the reason? And what could be done to change it? The documentary LAND OF UNITY – OR MAYBE NOT? (original title: EINHEITSLAND – ODER DOCH NICHT?) sets off across eastern and western Germany on a search for clues. The film profiles people who yearn to have East Germany back again, it encounters the winners and losers from reunification.
