HEAVEN, HELL
AND HORMONES

(44 min., NDR broadcasting network, 2008)

41,945,500 women live in Germany – so the statistics say. Many of them mothers, every one of them a daughter. What links them – what divides them? And what makes this relationship so unique? The documentary HEAVEN, HELL AND HORMONES (original title: HIMMEL, HÖLLE UND HORMONE) observes three mothers and their daughters during everyday life: among arguments and hostilities, but also in moments of happiness and deeply bonded unity.

VOICES OF THE PRESS

“In highly personal statements these women disclose a great deal about the way they view themselves, sparingly augmented by informative commentaries.”
